About Us

History of Business:

Adams & Associates was founded in 2008 by an Estate Planning Attorney in Lincoln, CA to address a growing need for licensed professionals to act in a position of trust for the enormous aging population.  Currently, our firm has over 100 clients and has experience with Life Insurance Trusts, Conservatorships, acting as Representative Payee for public benefits, bill paying , Trustee for Special Needs Trusts, Family Trusts, Executor, Power of Attorney and Guardian Ad Litem.
Our firm serves all counties in Northern California and we have clients throughout the United States and abroad who require experience licensed professionals. We have succession planning in place to provide for our clients over the next 50 years. Currently we are developing two licensed fiduciaries within our office to accommodate our future clients.

David Buehler, CLPF #611

President of the company.


Mr. Buehler is a California Licensed Private Fiduciary #611. Mr. Buehler is currently acting in the capacity of Conservator of the Person and Estate, Trustee, Representative Payee with over 85 clients with assets over $36 million. Mr. Buehler graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Speech Communication and a minor in Business. Mr. Buehler has over 33 years in corporate management in the hospitality industry. Mr. Buehler understands the challenges of family dynamics and arrives at creative solutions to resolve complex family issues. Mr. Buehler is a Notary Public and is also a National Certified Guardian.


Joseph Arana

Chief Financial Officer


Mr. Arana is responsible for supervising all financial aspects of the business, Human Resources, Marketing and the overall management of the business. Mr. Arana has over 21 years’ experience in corporate managementJoseph Arana has 10 years experience utilizing his entrepreneurial skills in developing other successful businesses. Mr. Arana has an Associates Degree in Accounting. He is currently working on obtaining his Bachelor Degree in Accounting.  Mr. Arana has had the most significant influence on developing the flawless reputation of Adams & Associates since joining the business in 2009. Mr. Arana is also fluent in Spanish.


Christa Kinsman

Assistant Private Fiduciary


Mrs. Kinsman is an Assistant Private Fiduciary and has been with the firm since 2013. Currently Mrs Kinsman is working diligently on getting licensed by the Department of Consumer Affairs Fiduciary Bureau by early 2019. Mrs. Kinsman has over 6 years’ experience in the banking industry as an account representative and loan specialist. Her experience in banking is a true asset in dealing with banks and other financial institutions resulting in a cost savings to our clients. Mrs. Kinsman received her AA degree in Business Administration in 2018. Mrs. Kinsman is a Notary Public and is also our Office Manager and Corporate Secretary.


Helen Bryant

Assistant Private Fiduciary


Helen Bryant has been with the firm since 2015. She brings  Adams & Associates great knowledge with being an entrepreneur and owned and operated her own business for over 20 years. She has excellent accounting skills and is devoted to making our client experience the best in the industry.
